Mariana Souza (b. 1997) is a photographer born in São Paulo, Brazil and based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Photography and Media Art at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 

Her work explores the human ability of adaptation and transformation, using the sense of home to create conversations about identity and culture. Using her own experiences to discuss conforming to new environments, Mariana highlights unnoticed details of the everyday life with her photographs, creating a narrative on humans and their interactions.

Her process includes both digital and film.
